Chaos is a blue mutated chao that guards the Master Emerald. Chaos is an anti-hero that was a villain. Chaos in the distant past was a normal chao but prolonged exposure to the Master Emerald changed him into a liquified being. Chaos took the role of guardian of the Emerald Shrine and his chao bretheren. When Pachacamac attaked the shrine Chaos in a fit of rage absorbed the negative energy of the Chaos Emeralds and turned into a beast known as Perfect Chaos. Perfect Chaos killed all echidnas attacking so Tikal sealed her spirit and Chaos inside the Master Emerald. Eggman 3,000 years later released Chaos (and Tikal) to help him destroy the world. Chaos mutates when he recives Chaos Emeralds. His base form is Chaos 0, but he can mutate in order from Chaos 0-6, and then Perect Chaos. Eggman used Perect Chaos to try to destroy Station Square, but Tikal appears to Sonic and asks Sonic to seal Chaos in the Master Emerald, Sonic says that won't soothe Chaos so he absorbs the positive power of the Chaos Emeralds to fight Chaos, wins and soothes Chaos. Chaos was sealed back in the Emerald with Tikal but he was happy, He was shown the chao he loved so dearly by Tikal...
